Danish born Jonas Skielboe is fast establishing himself as an exciting and versatile guitarist. After studying in Denmark, Switzerland, Spain and Holland he is pursuing a busy career in Europe both as a soloist and chamber musician.

Jonas is euducated classical guitarist but has always been attracted by the multiple use of the guitar and has been playing flamenco, rock, and early music.

He has developed a widespread collaboration with different ensembles that spans various styles of chamber music. He is now working with some of the leading musicians in Europe, expanding his repertoire of instruments to include electric guitar, banjo, and mandolin.

For the past few years, Jonas has devoted a large part of his time to a personal study of Spanish and Latin American music. This has resulted in his CD "Connected" in 2007 with his own arrangements of spanish songs performed together with the dutch Mezzo Carina Vinke.

Due to his great interest in breaking the bounders between genres he initiated in 2014 the collaboration with the Russian Jazz pianist Alexey Filimonov with whom they recorded their first CD Flamenco Bachinianas the same year.

Jonas has performed and given master classes in several festivals in Spain and performed in important halls such as Wiener Musikverein, Concertgebow in Amsterdam, Ataneu Madrid.

Living his passion for rock music he is the guitarist in the band EVON ROSE that will bring out their first album in summer 2018.

His most recent colaboration is "Rusanda Panfili & Friends" unites all his passion in one group! The ensemble is agile moving between styles from flamenco, austrian & Rumanianfolk, Enesco Sonatas,  tangos and film music.

Jonas currently lives in Vienna and performs all around Europe.
